We are delighted to welcome the legendary Peter Hook - founding member of iconic bands, Joy Division and New Order to Saigon for a DJ set at Golden Birds.
In addition to co-founding 2 of the most important and influential bands of the 20th Century, Peter Hook is also an established DJ whose sets draw directly from his first-hand involvement in UK club culture. As a co-founder of FAC 51 The Haçienda, Hooky was closely involved in the crossover of indie, electronic and dance music that emerged from Manchester in the late 80s and 90s. His DJ sets reflect this history, combining key tracks from The Haçienda era with underground classics, alternative dance records, exclusive remixes and current material.
With decades of experience and a strong connection to club culture, Hooky’s DJ sets focus on atmosphere, musical heritage and the energy of the dancefloor.
We hope you can join us as we welcome Hooky to Vietnam for the first time. Support comes from Liamo & SL Jung (Cosmic Meltdown) and Superkid.
