LOU BLACKLou Black is a Peruvian-born, Washington, D.C.-based singer-songwriter, producer, video artist, and statistician known for his eclectic and socially conscious musical style. His 2004 debut album, City of No Winters, garnered critical acclaim, with the press describing it as “sophisticated global pop” and “one of the best in the singer-songwriter genre.” Black characterizes his music as “subversive pop songs of social commentary and personal struggle,” blending elements of pop, rock, folk, and electronic music to reflect his diverse influences and global perspective.
