Please join us for a unique Sunday afternoon musical experience featuring two very talented local musicians. Greenleaf and Hill deliver beautiful harmonies backed by clawhammer banjo and acoustic guitar.
Will Greenleaf is a Maryland musician rooted in the local scene, known for thoughtful songwriting on guitar shaped by traditional and indie music. His work reflects a deep engagement with the musical culture of the DMV, connecting with fellow musicians across genres.
Largely on banjo in this project, Becky Hill is a highly regarded percussive dancer, square dance caller, choreographer, and educator. A tradition bearer in the Appalachian and old-time worlds, she has performed and taught widely at venues, festivals, and teaching camps. Together, Greenleaf and Hill offer joy and sorrow, humor and gravitas on a full plate of old-time tunes, ballads, and country standards. Their work treats music as a living conversation, blending melody, rhythm, and communal energy into a dynamic shared experience.
