Bicycle Day presents:
Lotus
with Michael Wilbur (of Moon Hooch)
Lotus has influences of classic electronic dance music, funk, post-rock and dance-rock. Over the years, their unique musical blend of electronica with jam music has helped forge a new path in the jamband landscape, influencing many younger bands in the scene.
Michael Wilbur is an internationally touring saxophonist and co-founder of Moon Hooch, the genre-defying band that sparked a global brass-driven dance music movement. Rising from NYC subway platforms to stages across 20+ countries, he’s built a reputation for explosive, high-energy performances that fuse EDM, jazz, house, and hip-hop. Now leading his solo project, Wilbur creates massive, dance-floor-driven soundscapes through live looping on bass sax, tenor sax, trumpet, and voice—blending raw brass energy with electronic production.
