Lost in Paris is a 5-day art journey where kids explore the city through the artists who shaped its creative spirit. From Monet’s soft, light-filled paintings to Degas’ sense of movement, Matisse’s bold cut-outs, and Lautrec’s striking posters, each day introduces a new visual style through guided, hands-on projects. The focus is on creating strong, beautiful artworks while experimenting with different ways of seeing and making. By the end, each child builds a cohesive collection of five Paris-inspired pieces - each one unique, expressive, and ready to be proudly displayed.DAY-WISE SCHEDULEDay 1 - Impressionist Art with Monet Learn to paint light, not details as we appreciate the softness of Monet's expansive workDay 2 - Poster Design with Toulouse-LautrecLearn to design like a poster, bold and simple while studying the style of the Master of PostersDay 3 - Movements and Silhouettes with Edgar DegasOn day 3 we learn to draw movements, not perfect body. Gestures, poses and soft silhouettes that made Degas's ballerina paintings so striking!Day 4 - Dance of the Scissors with Henri Matisse's bold collageTrade your paints for coloured paper and brushes for a pair of scissors. Cut up big bold shapes and compose them into a visual that tells a story, just like Matisse's renowned artworks.Day 5 - My Parisian MasterpieceCreate an original composition and masterpiece inspired by the city and the artstyles you learnt fromNote: The above schedule is indicative. We help kids, teens and adults find their creative voice by sharing stories and anecdotes that inspire us and gently guiding them to recognise what's special about their art.
