The Lost 40 Art, Music, & Flow Festival returns July 30 – August 2, 2026, in its new home at the Valley of the Green Giants in Le Sueur, Minnesota.Set across an 80-acre natural sanctuary of forests, prairies, creeks, and open meadowland, Lost 40 unfolds in a landscape that feels both wild and carefully held. The Valley of the Green Giants offers winding woodland paths, hidden clearings, open-sky meadows, and cool creekside retreats, creating a setting that invites exploration, reflection, and discovery. Le Sueur Creek, with its natural swimming holes and shaded banks, runs through the heart of the property, while quiet wooded campsites and a sweeping Great Meadow provide space for late-night music, communal gatherings, and the beloved Dinner Circle.
After hosting the festival at his home for the past few years, Jack McGowan now age 89 has officially retired and closed his Campground. Jack is considered family to Lost 40 and played a foundational role in its growth. Plans are underway to welcome Jack as Guest of Honor during the Dinner Circle, celebrating the roots of the festival and the land that made it possible.
