“Brixton is a 15 year-old raised on punk rock and skateboarding. Rob, his dad, is a seasoned musician. Together in their Hamilton ON basement, they wrote some songs (Brixton on guitar, Rob on drums) and enlisted the help of Rob’s former Freestyle/Setback bandmate Charlie (vocals) and longtime pal Raff (bass) to bring these songs to life. That is how Losing Streak came to be...or so they say.
Recalling the heyday of Fat Wreck Chords acts like Lagwagon and Strung Out, while blending the influence of more contemporary bands like the Fullblast and Adrenalized, Losing Streak creates a fast, punchy style of punk rock that melts faces. (not literally)
The band’s debut EP Big Dreams, No Desire was released in Fall 2023 by the prolific Québec-based label People of Punkrock Records. They are currently working on their debut full-length album with hopes for a 2025 release.
