THIS EVENT IS WEATHER DEPENDENTWe are going to try for another Losi NASCAR event in Lehi for Sunday afternoon (when we have access to the parking lot). We aren't sure if it will dry out enough or what the wind will do. Check the event info for the latest information.
We are still short on transponders. More are on the way. Until then, we will do our best with what we have. The club is still in our "experimental" phase of growth. Austin is ordering spare parts. The most critical parts are out of stock. As a result, we will not be enforcing any class rules. Run what works. Also, we are happy to race the Groms. We may get creative with the format to make the lack of transponders less of an issue.
I have a portable PA system coming, as well as a camera. This will let us live-stream and record racing. Peak will be building the track and experimenting with sizes and shapes before commiting to something. If anyone has a leaf blower, please bring it.
For this event, our hope is to meet some new people and share what our direction is. Our setup and approach will continue to improve. We have been in contact with parking lot racing clubs all over the United States getting some fantastic suggestions. We really appreciate the support of the community as we bring (back) exciting parking lot RC racing action to Utah.
