Los Amigos Milonga is back — and this one’s a special Pi Day Potluck Milonga! 🥧✨Join us Saturday, March 14 | 3:00–7:00 PM for an afternoon of tango, community, and good food. This is a private event and a daytime, family-friendly gathering—children and families are welcome.
And because it’s an early milonga, we’re encouraging everyone to come enjoy the afternoon, have dinner with us, and then head out to support the other DC Area milongas later that evening for even more dancing. 💃🕺
👗👠 Clothing & Shoe Exchange (3:00–4:00 PM)
From 3–4 PM, we’ll host a community clothing and tango shoe exchange. Bring gently worn tango shoes and dancewear that don’t fit, didn’t work for you, or deserve a second life—swap, give away, or sell.
If you’d like to sell items:
• Please tag each item with the price and the seller’s name
• Sellers are responsible for handling their own sales logistics
What happens to leftovers?
• Any exchange items not taken will be donated at the end of the event unless you collect them.
• Exchange shoes will be saved in a shared box for newer dancers who need access to shoes (only shoes offered for exchange, of course).
(I’ll be bringing shoes and clothes too, good stuff—for exchange, giveaway, and sale!)
🥧 Pi Day Potluck Details
This is a community potluck:
• Bring food to share or contribute $10 cash toward food.
• Since it’s Pi Day, we’ll be serving pot pie, and we encourage everyone to bring something on-theme—pie, a “pi” dish, or any fun Pi Day-inspired treat.
