About this Event
Los Alamos WinterFest Weekend celebrates winter in Los Alamos! Numerous businesses and organizations schedule events including ballets, bazaars, shows, and sales.
This year's parade is organized by Los Alamos County and Los Alamos MainStreet & Creative District.
The Holiday Lights Parade is the highlight of WinterFest Weekend, taking place Saturday, Dec. 7 at 6 pm. This year's theme is "Winter Brilliance"; please include the theme in your entry.
Remember that throwing candy is prohibited during parades as a safety issue (children tend to then rush the floats). Handing out candy is permitted, however.
Staging begins at 5 pm and the parade starts at 6 pm.
