With rain expected days before, we'll get a rare mid summer chance to do some dirt work at the park! We'll be spending some time on the mountain bike trail, Lower Springboard, moving rock and dirt to patch up a few of the berms that have blown out heavy usage over the past few years.
We'll meet at 8:00AM at the barn located at the park’s north entrance to go over what we're doing for the day before heading out to the trails. Bikes are recommended to easily get in and out of the trails, but hiking in and out is no problem! Tools are provided, but be sure to bring some work gloves and any essentials(food, water, layers, etc.) to stay comfortable for the day. If you have joined us for a work party at Lord Hill before, and you would like to join in for only part of the day, that's also an option!
