Saturday, July 6th, you could become a champion! Head to a The POP Shop to prove your skills as an Illumineer in this Free to enter tournament!
Conquer the Waves of Competition and triumph as one of the top players, you’ll head home with not only bragging rights, but a valuable prizes featuring Ursula – Sea Witch Queen. Store Championship events are a fun way to challenge other Illumineers and better your own skills. As always, give your best effort, treat others with respect, and have fun!
HOW IT WORKS: Participants, known as Illumineers, will construct a tournament-legal decks using cards from their personal collections. They will be matched at random in the first round and then play against other illumineers with similar points totals in each subsequent round as they advance through the tournament. This tournament is limited to 24 Illumineers. This event is expected to be sold out early, please contact the store asap to reserve your entry.
PRIZES: Prizes are awarded to the top four players (tie breakers may be used to determine top players). Each of the top four players will receive one Ursula – Sea Witch Queen promo card. Second place will receive a playmat featuring Ursula – Sea Witch Queen, and the Champion will receive a playmat featuring Ursula – Sea Witch Queen along with the “Champion” Title.
ADDITIONAL PRIZES: Not everyone likes entry fees, so here is an option for even bigger prizes. Illumineers will be given the opportunity to enter the “Kicker Prize Pool” on the day of the event. Entry fee for this is $10. All entries are returned as prizes in the form of Store Credit used for purchases at The Pop Shop. Kicker Prizes are only awarded to Kicker Participants. Prizes are awarded as 67% Payout to the top Kicker participant, and 33% Payout to the second highest Kicker participant.
