The National Day of Prayer is right around the corner! This year, we're taking a slightly different approach as the National Day of Prayer Task Force in Lorain County. Rather than pushing to see as many observances as we can throughout the various communites, we’re extending a clear invitation: as many as are willing, from every corner of Lorain County, to come together in the evening for a unified, county-wide gathering at Midway Mall in Elyria. There is something significant about standing side by side—not as separate groups, but as one people—seeking God together for our communities. Our hope is to create a shared moment of unity, where we gather with one voice, one heart, and a common purpose for the place we call home.
At the same time, we deeply value the local expressions of prayer happening throughout the day. If your church, organization, or community is hosting a gathering, we want to support you and help spread the word. These local observances are an important part of the fabric of the National Day of Prayer in Lorain County, and we are grateful for every place where people are seeking God on behalf of their community.
Whether you come to join us at the mall, or choose to participate in an observance in your own community, we hope you'll come out to pray with the rest of the Body of Christ on May 7th!!!
