In this four week class, we focus on building the foundation for enjoyable walks where your dog stays connected with you and moves politely on leash. We’ll cover:“With Me” – teaching your dog to walk by your side with engagement and focus.
“Find Me” – building recall-to-position skills while walking.
Luring into Position – using food effectively to guide your dog into the right spot.
Marker Training – teaching clear communication so your dog understands exactly what earns rewards.
Movement Games – getting your dog comfortable with following and matching your pace.
Getting Into Position – helping your dog start walks in the right place and mindset.
Rewarding While Moving – reinforcing focus and good leash manners in motion.
And More! – games, strategies, and troubleshooting tips to make walks smoother and more fun for both ends of the leash.
By the end of this class, you and your dog will have the tools to make walks less stressful, more connected, and much more enjoyable.
