Hello Roaring Fork Climbers! If you like to climb, you might enjoy a film, Looking UP, which is coming to Aspen for a one-night screening August 12, 5:30 PM, at the Isis Theatre. Looking UP is the inspiring story of a young man who loses his sight to a rare genetic eye condition called Retinitis Pigmentosa (RP). In the film he takes on the challenge of climbing Yosemite's El Capitan. It is a story of resilience and grit and has some amazing climbing cinematography. I am the director/producer and will do a Q&A after the screening. All ticket proceeds go to support Challenge Aspen's adaptive ski programs for the disabled.
