INSECTS MAGNIFIED: Join us for a captivating lecture with Dr. Jennifer Girón, an expert in entomology, as she takes us on. a journey to explore the fascinating world of insects. The lecture, held in conjunction with the Microsculpture exhibition, will highlight both the extraordinary insect specimens from the Museum's invertebrate zoology collection that closely resemble the stunningly photographed insects featured in the exhibition.
Dr. Girón will reveal the incredible details and hidden beauty of these tiny but mighty creatures and emphasize their importance beyond their aesthetics. There will be a focus on the exoskeleton of insects and how it varies, allowing them to be the largest group of described organisms on Earth.
