Join award winning painter and teacher, John Guernsey, in this informative and ‘breakthrough’ 3-day workshop. There will be a varied approach of demonstration, group discussions, and a lot of class painting with assistance from Mr. Guernsey. Whether you are a beginner or an advanced painter, this workshop has something to teach every skill level. The workshop will start by teaching students to observe scenes carefully before taking action along with thinking about what elements are important to a composition and how basic painting/drawing concepts will apply to their pieces. Students will then create a painting that exhibits their best skills and expresses their individual message or feeling. It’ll be a fun time of learning and camaraderie!Cost: $440 for Non-members OR $400 for Kelly Members
