Look and See! Drawing Course — Tutored One Day Course, Glasgow

There is a difference between looking at something and really seeing it. Most of us look without seeing — we recognise the object and stop there. This single-day course is built around changing that.

Throughout the day, you'll work through exercises in looking and seeing, explore mark-making and colour, using tools and materials that gently nudge you out of your comfort zone and help you discover new ways to create.

The course suits makers at three broad points in their practice: people looking for a way into drawing, students building a portfolio, and more makers who've lost momentum and want to get moving again.

The development of the course involved seven painters and printmakers who took part in a trial of Look and See and found real value in the process — proof the structure holds up for practised makers, not just people starting out.
