Individual auditions will take place from 5:00pm-9:00pm on January 16th & 9:00am-2:00pm on January 17th in the Butler School of Music: Orchestra Room, MRH 2.118.
For this, please prepare a 1:30 minute song cut to sing for us (your cut should not exceed one and a half minutes total). This song should be memorized and a cappella. Your starting pitch can be provided if needed. In addition, you will be asked to do a short sight reading, pitch memorizations, and vocal warm ups led by our director. Your entire individual audition should take no more than 7-8 minutes.
Callbacks will take place from 6:00pm-9:00pm on January 18th. If selected for callbacks, you will receive an email on the evening of 01/17 or the morning of 01/18. At callbacks, our director will lead you and other auditionees through learning a cut of music. Afterwards, one of our choreographers will lead the group in learning a short dance to assess both your dancing capabilities and your stage presence. (Dress accordingly!)
