• Location & Time: The summit will be held at Farmingdale State College Campus Center Ballroom from 8:00 AM - 3:30 PM.
• Registration Start Time & Meals Included: Registration will begin at 8:00 AM. Breakfast, lunch and light refreshments are included!
• OCFS/CTLE Hours: 4.0

Our Purpose

From fundamentals to implementation, come learn about the Pyramid Model and how this framework of evidence-based practices helps promote children's health, social and emotional development! Session topics include, but are not limited to:

• Merging literacy and Pyramid Model together to bring social-emotional learning topics come to life for young children through book nooks
• Engaging Families as Partners & Tools of Support with Pyramid Model
• Utilize tools and apply techniques to help bring calming strategies towards fostering supporive learning environments

The event is being jointly hosted by New York State Pyramid Model - Region 5 Team, Child Care Council of Nassau, Child Care Council of Suffolk and Choice for All. The summit is sponsored by the Long Island Regional Technical Assistance Center (LI-RTAC) for Pre-K & Early Childhood Education.
