Get Ready for an Unforgettable Weekend of Family Fun!
The Annual Long Island Family Festival is returning to the beautiful waterfront at Tanner Park in Copiague for an exciting weekend celebration filled with entertainment, attractions, shopping, food and activities for the entire family.
The 2026 Long Island Family Festival will take place:
Friday, September 25 through Sunday, September 27, 2026
Rain Dates: October 23–25, 2026
Friday evening will kick off the festivities with live music, carnival rides, delicious food and vendors. The excitement will continue throughout Saturday and Sunday with an expanded lineup of entertainment, competitions, demonstrations, specialty attractions and community activities.
Admission is free to the public.
Festival Highlights Include:
- An exhilarating carnival featuring exciting rides and attractions for children and families
- Live musical entertainment beginning Friday evening and continuing throughout the weekend
- The Ocean View Art, Craft & Gift Show featuring artisans, crafters, businesses, specialty vendors and unique merchandise
- The Long Island Pet Expo in the Park, packed with exciting dog demonstrations, lure coursing, agility fun, a canine fashion show, pet vendors and rescue and adoption groups—all celebrating the wonderful world of pets!
- Corky’s International Haute Couture Canine Fashion Show, where fashionable dogs take center stage and show off their style
- A special Dachshund Fashion Show featuring Long Island’s most fashionable “wiener dogs”
- First Annual National COIR Patriot Motorcycle Run & Bike Show
- The Festival Custom Car Show featuring hundreds of classic, custom, antique, collectible and specialty vehicles
- The 4th Annual Open Cup Bocce Tournament and live bocce demonstrations
- The Tanner Jam Skateboard Demonstration at the Town of Babylon’s exciting new skate park
- Human Hamster Ball Races
- Pirate-led treasure hunts throughout the festival
- Princess and other custom character appearances
- The Long Island Family Festival Pizza Eating Contest

Saturday: Community & Cultural Day
Saturday will celebrate the diverse communities, cultures, organizations, and talented performers that make Long Island such a special place to live. The day will feature cultural entertainment, community organizations, family activities, vendors, demonstrations and performances.
Sunday: Veterans Appreciation Day
Sunday will be dedicated to honoring and supporting our nation’s veterans and active-duty service members.
The day will feature the First Annual National COIR Patriot Motorcycle Run & Bike Show, benefiting Long Island ABATE’s Veterans Outreach Program. Festival attendees will have an opportunity to welcome the arriving riders, view an impressive collection of motorcycles, enjoy the bike show and participate in a meaningful day honoring those who have served our country.
A special veterans-themed concert and additional patriotic programming are also planned as part of Sunday’s celebration.
