In this practical workshop, Kyle will cover:
Long Exposure Techniques – Learn how to slow things down and create silky water, streaking clouds, and moody, minimalist scenes using your Nikon camera.
Composition in the Field – Discover how to work with strong foregrounds, leading lines, and negative space to build powerful long exposure images with depth and intention.
Filter Use & Best Practices – Get hands-on with ND filters, grads, and polarizers, learning how to stack them correctly, calculate exposure times, and manage reflections and highlights for balanced results.
Real-Time Shooting Guidance – Kyle will be on hand to help you refine your settings, improve your compositions, and troubleshoot any challenges as you shoot.
Expect a relaxed, creative learning environment with one-on-one support as you develop your long exposure skills in one of the Cape Peninsula’s most photogenic coastal locations.
Whether you're new to filters or looking to refine your technique, this workshop will help you take your landscape photography to the next level, right there in the field, where it counts.
