Long Beach Fixit Clinic
About this Event
This page is only informational.
----------
Long Beach Fixit Clinics are offered to the community free of charge thanks to LB Recycles, LB Reuses, Algalita, the Long Beach Time Exchange, and Pedal Movement.
Fixit Clinics are events where volunteer fixers and community members work alongside one another to attempt repairing an item. Attempting to repair an item before recycling or disposing of it is a great waste reduction practice. In alignment with LB Reuses’ mission to reduce single-use plastic and overall waste through engagement, advocacy, and collaboration on reuse initiatives, we aim to work with organizations and the community to facilitate knowledge and tool sharing so that items may be repaired and given a new life. Community members can bring broken items such as electronics, bicycles, watches, toys, clothes, and small appliances.
We are no longer accepting jewelry.
