About our comedians...

Courtney Black is a stand-up comedian, actress, writer, and radio personality from Washington, D.C. Known for her smart, relatable storytelling and quick wit, she has toured nationally and internationally, opening for Martin Lawrence and touring with Sheryl Underwood and Guy Torry. Courtney headlined the television comedy series Stand Up and Deliver and is the writer, executive producer, and star of her stand-up special, Courtney Black: Standards. She spent five years as a co-host on Sheryl Underwood Radio, where her signature comedy and commentary segments became audience favorites. Her television and film credits include Adam Ruins Everything, The Real (guest co-host), NewsOne Now with Roland Martin, Stealing Harvard, Like Mike, and I Got the Hook Up 2. Before comedy, Courtney earned two Bachelor of Science degrees and worked in cancer research—now she says she heals people with laughter.

Jay Light is a comedian and writer based in Los Angeles. He is the host/creator of acclaimed live comedy show “WRONG! A F*cked Up Game Show” which was featured at the 2026 Netflix Is A Joke Festival. After making his bones as a door guy at the world-famous Comedy Store, he has gone on to perform on TV shows like Comedy Central’s Roast Battle and NBC’s America’s Got Talent, and at clubs and comedy festivals around the world, including SXSW and Edinburgh Fringe. He recently made his Japanese television debut as a judge on Nippon TV’s Global Comedian. His debut comedy album “Good Guy With A Gun” reached top of the Apple Music Comedy charts upon release. His new hour “My Wife Hates These Jokes” is out now on YouTube.

Silvia De Anda is a stand-up comedian, writer, and entertainment professional based out of Long Beach, CA. Her comedy draws on everyday life, culture, family, and personal experiences, delivering sharp observations with an engaging, relatable style. In addition to performing stand-up, she has worked in the comedy industry and has a background in communications and marketing, combining creative storytelling with a passion for live entertainment.

The show also features Shaman Johal and Alex Duffant.
