SUMMARY
In the cluttered backyard of a small-town Texas bar, the play follows Roy, a macho, shell-shocked Vietnam War veteran, and his adoring, dim-witted younger brother, Ray, as they navigate brotherhood and the lingering scars of war. A dark hour-long comedy that was written to be performed alongside Laundry and Bourbon, McLure’s other one-act play set in Texas.
