About this Event
London Youth are delighted to announce the return of the Violence Affecting Young People Network.
Relaunching on 5th November, this Network aims to bring together individuals working with young people who are at risk of, or affected by, youth violence.
This event will provide a valuable opportunity to network with others from both your local area and across London, while also hearing from sector professionals who will share insights and knowledge on current trends.
The relaunch will also offer you a chance to contribute to shaping the future of the Network, with the potential to establish additional working groups.
We’re excited to welcome Richard Roach, a former musician and youth worker, who will explore how the police are using drill music lyrics and videos in prosecutions, along with practical tips for working with young people on music and video creation.
In addition, Abdul-Karim will present the latest information on youth financial exploitation, highlighting key signs to look out for and ways to protect young people.
The event will also feature a policy update from our Head of Policy, and further opportunities to connect with peers. This is a fantastic chance to come together, learn, and support the young people in our communities.
