The return of London Underground's Odd Night Out! This series showcases acts that don't fall under our usual umbrellas, and may fall outside the box! For this night out, we've got:-A classical guitar performance by Abigail Rae!
Abigail Rae is a composer, guitarist and music novelist from Iowa. In the spring of 2022 she was a resident of Vienna, Austria. For the majority of 2023 and spring of 2024, she resided in Leipzig, Germany where she furthered her music, from being a guest listener at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater ‘Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy’ to playing in an orchestra at the GewandHaus (Mendelssohn Saal). She likes music history along with a spot of tea.
-Cigars To Guitars
Craig Mackaman converts cigar boxes into playable guitars, and performs blues and Americana music on them. He'll be playing a set on these unique instruments, and after the performance he'll have cigar box guitars available for audience members who would like to try one out!
