London South Training Centre – Official Opening Event

We’re excited to welcome employers, industry partners and guests to celebrate the official opening of our newly refurbished London South Training Centre — formerly known as our JTL Orpington Centre. The event starts at 9.30am and the official opening ceremony will take place at 10:30am led by Helen Hayes MP, Chair of the Education Select Committee.

Following a £1 million investment, our state-of-the-art facility has been transformed to deliver cutting-edge apprenticeship training in electrical and plumbing & heating Level 3 qualifications. With a particular emphasis on environmental technologies, our centre now features the latest industry-standard equipment, including:

• Heat pump training rigs
• Solar PV and solar thermal systems
• Advanced hot water and energy efficiency technology

This investment ensures our apprentices and employers benefit from hands-on learning with the tools and technologies shaping the future of the building services industry.

The event will run all day, giving you the chance to explore the facilities, meet our expert training teams, and discover how JTL can support your workforce development needs.
