London Movement Summit 2026

Following a powerful inaugural gathering in 2025, the London Summit returns for 2026, bringing together church leaders, charities, civic institutions and community organisations from across the capital.

Last year’s Summit highlighted inspiring examples of collaboration already taking place across London, created new connections between sectors and opened important conversations around how churches and civic institutions can work more effectively together (read the Summary & Reflections Report here).

This Summit is for those who believe collaboration is key to addressing the challenges facing our city. This year we are focusing on the following three areas:

• Tackling Poverty and Creating Opportunity
• Building Resilient Communities
• Supporting Children, Young People and Families.

Over the course of the morning, together we'll:

• Explore how churches and civic institutions can work more effectively together to serve local communities.

After the Summit, from 1:45pm - 2:30pm. Hope for Justice will be running a Modern Slavery Awareness Workshop.

Modern slavery often hides in plain sight, impacting some of the most vulnerable people in our communities. In this practical workshop, Hope for Justice will equip you to recognise the signs of exploitation, understand vulnerability factors, and respond appropriately to concerns.

Drawing on real-life examples, you'll discover how churches, charities and civic organisations can work together to identify risk, protect vulnerable people, and help build communities where exploitation has no place to hide.

You will learn how to:

• Recognise the signs of modern slavery and human trafficking
• Identify vulnerability factors that can lead to exploitation
• Respond safely and effectively to concerns
