Lois Eleanor (Goodman) Lestina, aged 90 of Mounds View, Minnesota, born Dec 13th, 1935 at Anchor Hospital in St. Paul, Minnesota to Russell & Violet Goodman passed away peacefully June 7th, 2026. Lois was predeceased by her parents, siblings Russ Goodman, Larry Goodman, & Jan Fredrickson, ex-husband Robert Lestina Sr., son Keith Lestina & grandson Joshua Grecula.
Lois was full of life and loved adventures. She led a full and active spiritual life. She spent many years as a school and charter bus driver and enjoyed spending time with her passengers and the many challenges of the road. She completed the Ride Across Minnesota & Ironman bike rides for many years with hardly any uphills. She was an excellent scout, leading Girl & Boy Scouts, Campfire Girls, and Brownie troops. She loved to travel and experience new things and cultures. She brought life and fun wherever she went, always enjoying herself. She didn't meet a craft she couldn't conquer or a person she couldn't befriend.
Lois will be greatly missed by those she left behind, including her children, Susan Lestina, Wanda (Bob) Grecula, Bob (Donna) Lestina, & Bill Lestina, 6 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren, & her sister Kathy Johnson.
Memorial service will be at Eastside Salvation Army Church on July 18th, 2026 at 1:00PM. 1019 Payne Avenue.
