Logical Pretzel is an eight-piece collective dedicated to the music of Steely Dan. The band's performances typically include all the legendary hits like "Rikki Don't Lose that Number", "My Old School", and “Dirty Work”, as well as some deeper catalogue cuts.
Originally formed in 2017, Logical Pretzel has expanded its personnel and refined its repertoire as it has gained fans through its increasing number of appearances throughout Fairfield County and beyond each year. Over the last year alone, the band has performed at leading area venues such as Park City Music Hall, Sugar Hollow Tap Room, and Nod Hill Brewery, as well as at the Norwalk Oyster Festival. The band also performs at numerous community and cultural summer concert series.
The band members are all talented musicians who are also in other area bands including Ace & Friends, Accidental Breakdown, The Avengers, Cover Story, Laughin’ Bones, Rock Paper Soul, and The Stamford Jazz Quintet. Drummer David Weber has played with the area favorite Old School Revue, and has also toured nationally with such acts as Copperhead, Link Wray, and Michael Bloomfield.
With their polished sound and joyful spirit, Logical Pretzel is a celebration for Steely Dan fans and new audiences alike.
