Lockie Bennett is a jazz guitarist based in Wellington… but not for much longer! Catch him before he leaves for the UK.
The rhythm section features Auckland-based drummer George Brajkovich and Wellington stalwart bassist Elijah Mulheron. This new and exciting permutation of the trio toured the North Island earlier this year as part of a 12-stop tour across Australia and New Zealand.
The trio will be playing the music of Charlie Parker, Bud Powell, Tadd Dameron and other notable composers of the early 20th century.
