Botswana Chamber of Mines will host the fourth edition of the Local Manufacturing Summit as a way to bring the manufacturing and supply chain community in Botswana together. This year’s event will be held under the theme, Shaping the future of Botswana’s manufacturing sector: Exploring export markets. This to a large degree, influenced by the Botswana Economic Transformation Programme (BETP) and the knowledge gained from the facilitation of local manufacturers under the Citizen Economic Empowerment Programme (CEEP).
The summit will bring together industry players, manufacturers, and significant consumers such as mining houses and public offices, regulatory institutions, parastatal organizations, public and private financing institutions, as well as development partners.
