Join us Sunday, December 29th at 6:30pm for an evening of Local Legends! We will be joined by John Nowicki, Marc Ganancias, Peter Nuffer!John Nowicki
"Tampa songwriter and multi-instrumentalist John Nowicki has undergone his own, subtle change in the 16 or so years since he first landed at an open mic at the now-shuttered Davis Islands location of Yeoman’s Road Pub. It’s there that Nowicki met some of his lifelong friends, joined a band called Toast and ultimately entered the always changing lineup of musicians who make up long-running instrumental outfit Poetry ‘n’ Lotion (PNL)" - Ray Roa, Creative Loafing
Marc Ganancias
Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina to a Spanish/Italian father and a Scotch/Irish American mother, Marc Ganancias grew up in Central Florida, dividing time between the Sunshine State and the Washington, D.C. area. He’s been an independent musician/songwriter over the last three decades, much of that time spent with various punk rock bands. From 2003 to 2013, he has released three solo albums, the most recent being Policy of Discontent, recorded and engineered with legendary producer Don Zientara at Inner Ear Studios in Arlington, VA. The 15-track album features Steve Hansgen (Minor Threat) on bass and Phillip Harrington (Signals from Satellites) on drums, and was mastered by Sam Williams (Down By Law, Black Valley Moon). He has also published two books, a novella titled One More Time (2015) and a collection of short stories, Subset Asylum (2021). His primary musical influences include Hüsker Dü/Sugar/Bob Mould, I.R.S.-era R.E.M., Elvis Costello, Bad Religion, Killing Joke, The Damned, Alkaline Trio, Jane’s Addiction, Fugazi, Social Distortion, The Replacements, Doughboys, and Paul Weller.
Peter Nuffer
A Tampa Bay musician and songwriter whose work blurs genre lines and captures raw emotion. A veteran of bands like Toast, Pale Orchestra, and Swampuss, and currently playing with The Holy Terror, Pete has built a reputation for his multi-instrumental talent and collaborative spirit. His solo album, Palmetto Road, offers a "storybook western" journey, reflecting on his hometown of St. George, Utah. Described as both a love letter and a break-up letter, the album digs into the complicated emotions of leaving and longing, paired with poetic storytelling and atmospheric soundscapes. His EP, All of Our Reasons, explores themes of memory and how life’s narratives evolve, underscoring Pete’s knack for crafting music that’s both deeply personal and universally resonant.
