Local Children's Author Storytime

Join me, Cindy Lynn Sawyer, along with two wonderful fellow children's authors, for an enchanting morning of stories and creativity at Fables Books in Downtown Goshen!
I'm super excited to be part of Fables Books' second bi-annual Local Children's Author Storytime. This event promises to captivate young readers and their families, especially those aged 3-8 who are ready for adventure and imagination!
Here’s a sneak peek at what we’ll be sharing:
• Sheila L. Rutter will read from AMELIA TEACHES MANNERS, a charming story featuring Amelia the baby elephant as she journeys through land, river, sand, and sea to teach her friends the magic of good manners. A delightful tale for all young adventurers with a love for kindness and exploration!
• Paul A. Schreck will delight us with PRICKLY KISSES, a sweet, rhythmic picture book about a dad's sometimes scratchy, sometimes soft mustached kisses. This heartwarming story captures the unique ways that dads show their love and will leave everyone smiling!
• I’ll be sharing my own book, THE WONDER OF UNDER, following curious preschooler Paxton as he embarks on a quest to find adventure under everyday items around the house. When reality falls short, Paxton uses his imagination to create his own adventure—a fun STEM-themed story that encourages children to see the magic in the ordinary.Event
Highlights:
• Storytime: Enjoy an interactive reading from each of us as we bring our stories to life for your little ones.
• Meet & Greet: We’d love to meet you and your young readers after story time! Stop by our tables to chat, ask questions, and connect with each of us.
• Local Author Passport: Pick up a Local Author Passport and collect signatures from each author for a chance to win a special Bookish Gift Basket!
• Take-Home Activities: Each of us has prepared a special take-home craft or coloring sheet so your children can continue the fun at home.
This family-friendly event is free and open to the public at Fables Books, 215 S Main Street, Goshen, IN. Gather your family and friends, and join us for a morning filled with stories, smiles, and creativity.
