Join us for a special Saturday storytime program with local author Regina Rendin M.S., CCC-SLPSpeech-Language Pathologist.
Saturday February 21, at 12:00pm in our lower level auditorium.
Regina's book, “Say It with Scout” supports children ages 0–5 as they develop their sound repertoire, focusing on the first developmental sounds /m/, /b/, /p/, /h/, and /w/ typically mastered by age 3. Join Scout, a friendly farm dog, as she guides her animal friends through fun, short stories centered on one sound at a time. Each tale includes simple tips for parents to encourage their child’s first words. With lovable characters and interactive sound fun, this book makes learning to talk easy and enjoyable for kids and parents alike.
This program will include Miss Lizzie reading additional stories on the barn animal theme, songs and movement activities and we will finish with a puppet craft based on the characters featured in Say It with Scout.
We invite you to come early for Tail Waggin' Tales. Folks can drop-in to read with our visiting therapy dogs anytime between 10am - 12pm.
