Join us at Powder Hollow Brewery for Local Author Spotlight, a relaxed Friday evening celebrating local writers and great drinks.Each event features a local author sharing insight into their book(s), answering audience questions, and chatting with guests. Attendees will have the chance to meet the author, ask questions, and purchase signed copies—all while enjoying craft beer and wine in a laid-back tap room atmosphere.
✨ Featured Author: R.C. Goodwin
After graduating from Yale, R.C. Goodwin spent six years in Dublin attending medical school before returning to the U.S. to complete his psychiatric training. His experiences working in private practice, jails and prisons, nursing homes, substance abuse facilities, and university mental health clinics are chronicled in his memoir, Making God Laugh. His fiction has appeared in numerous literary publications and anthologies, and his debut book, The Stephen Hawking Death Row Fan Club, was named a Kirkus Indie Best Book of 2015. He is also the author of the psychological thriller Model Child. R.C. lives in Connecticut with his wife and a very spoiled cat.
