We're so excited to introduce you to local artist Alicia Christine. Her beautiful work celebrates all that is the magic of the Indiana Dunes.
Alicia is a Valparaiso-based nature photographer drawn to the quiet details of the natural world. After a traumatic brain injury in 2022, photography became part of her healing journey. It taught her to slow down and notice what often goes unseen: textures of tree bark, unfurling ferns, leaves returning to the earth, a squirrel pausing to eat, and small moments of life unfolding. Her work invites others to pause, reflect, and reconnect with themselves and the natural world.
Alicia will debut her work at the shoppe on Saturday, July 25th from 11-2. You can meet the artist as well as purchase items directly from her and learn the why and where for each piece.
