LO SF Bay Area | Vasco Caves Community Tour

Join us and our partners at East Bay Regional Park District for a unique community tour at Vasco Caves on Sunday, May 17th from 8:30am to 1pm.

Space is limited! RSVP is required. Bus transportation is provided and required.

PLEASE be sure to read all the information below before RSVPing. PLEASE only RSVP if you know you can commit to attending. If you realize you cannot attend anymore, please cancel your reservation as soon as possible, with plenty of days notice if possible, to give others from the waitlist a real chance to join.

Vasco Caves Regional Preserve is home to a stunning and unique combination of resources. Spectacular rock outcrops break suddenly from the rolling eastern foothills of Mount Diablo, providing magnificent scenery for hikers and geologists alike. Though ancient, the Preserve's resources are extraordinarily fragile, and exist today because of the land's isolation and is only accessible through guided tours due to its sensitive and sacred nature.
Important Information:

• Space is limited – RSVP required. Please don't bring extra people. One person can select up to 4 tickets. We want to make sure everyone is accounted for.
• Free transportation to and from the preserve is provided.
• Pick-up location: Dublin Hills Regional Open Space Preserve
• The bus departs promptly at 9:00am – please arrive at 8:30am!
• Riding the bus is required – no private vehicles allowed at Vasco Caves.
• Participants must be 10 years or older
• No pets allowed
• Please dress in layers, wear comfortable shoes, and bring sun protection (hat, sunscreen, etc.), along with plenty of water.
• Bring a packable trail lunch – we’ll stop for a break and meal midway through
• Snacks and goodies will be provided.
• Photography notice: To protect the preserve’s resources, cell phones, tablets, cameras (digital or film), and GPS-enabled devices are not permitted at Vasco Caves.
