LO Fresno | Conchita Climb

Instructors will demonstrate proper use of gear and various rock climbing techniques. Rock climbing is a partnered sport and consists of climbing and belaying. Belaying utilizes various techniques to ensure the climber has a safe, enjoyable experience. This course will focus on getting participants comfortable and confident as a belayer. To mutually benefit, all participants will be required to complete belay instruction before they are able to climb.

Please bring socks and comfortable clothing that allows room to stretch and move comfortably. MetalMark will provide climbing shoes and gear at no cost. Drinking fountains and water bottle refill stations are available near the restrooms.

Instruction begins promptly at 830am. Please arrive no later than 845 early to allow time to check-in, sign your waivers and get gear. IF YOU ARRIVE LATE, YOU WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO PARTICIPATE!

Event is free but registration is required as there is limited space available. PLEASE DO NOT BRING GUESTS THAT ARE NOT REGISTERED.

PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU ARE ABLE TO ATTEND ENTIRE CLASS TIME BEFORE REGISTERING.
