About this Event

Get ready to join LO Fresno to explore the diverse bird species at Merced National Wildlife Refuge with other nature enthusiasts! We will also have the fortune of having bird expert Rachel Clark guiding us along the way. This refuge is known to be a resting spot for thousands of birds migrating south including the Sandhill Crane which we will see fly in at sundown. This event is family friendly and is open for beginners to experienced birders alike. Don't miss out on this exciting opportunity to connect with nature and enjoy a day of bird watching.

We will all meet at the parking lot where we will enjoy some snacks and drinks. Afterwards, we will drive along the auto route and make frequent stops along the way. We will also go on short nature trails nearby. More details will be provided when the date approaches.

¡Prepárate para unirte a LO Fresno para explorar las diversas especies de aves en el Refugio Nacional de Merced con otros entusiastas de la naturaleza! También tendremos la suerte de contar con la experta en aves Rachel Clark guiándonos en el camino.
