LO Colorado | Family Fishing Day

REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED

LO Colorado is partnering with Denver Parks and Rec Rangers for a free family-friendly fishing event at Garfield Lake Park. No experience is necessary, Denver Parks and Rec Rangers will share basic instructions for fishing, and fishing poles and bait will be provided. People of all ages are welcome to attend!

The event will begin at 5:30 p.m. and go until 7:30 p.m, registered participants are welcome to arrive anytime within this time range. We will have some refreshments and snacks for attendees.

What to bring:

• Water
• Sunscreen and bug spray
• Sun protection (hat, sunglasses, spf shirt, etc.) (optional)
• Folding camp chair (optional)

Parking & Where to Find Us:

There is no official parking lot, but all of the street parking is free surrounding the park and within the nearby neighborhoods. We'll be set up near the lake with bathrooms directly behind us!

Latino Outdoors y el Departamento de Parques y Recreación de Denver se estan reuniendo para un evento de pesca gratuito para toda la familia en el parque Garfield Lake. No se requiere experiencia, el Departamento de Parques y Recreación compartirá instrucciones básicas para pescar y se proporcionarán cañas y carnadas. Personas de todas las edades son bienvenidas a participar.

El evento comenzará a las 5:30 p.m. y durará hasta las 7:30 p.m., los participantes registrados pueden llegar en cualquier momento dentro de este rango de tiempo. Nosotros tendremos algunos refrescos y aperitivos.

• Protector solar y repelente de insectos

Estacionamiento y dónde encontrarnos:

No hay estacionamiento en el parque, pero todo el estacionamiento en los vecindarios cercanos es gratuito. Estaremos ubicados cerca del lago adonde se encuentran los baños.
