LO Colorado | Bailando en Naturaleza: Bachata con las Mariposas

Latino Outdoors Colorado and Fortaleza Familiar are teaming up to host a Bachata lesson in the Conservatory Room at the Butterfly Pavilion. This event welcomes dancers of all skill levels and ages!
Fortaleza Familiar is dedicated to the wellness of Indigenous Chicanx Latinx Lesbian Gay Bi Queer Trans Two-Spirit young people and their families in Colorado.
This event will embody the spirit and values of Fortaleza Familiar and Latino Outdoors - all are welcome.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION PLEASE READ BEFORE REGISTERING:

During the week before the event, you will receive another email with more instructions on preparing for the event.

Language Accessibility Disclosure:

As a volunteer-led chapter of Latino Outdoors, we rely on the language skill sets of our volunteers and partners. Due to limited capacity and funding, we are not able to provide consistent multilingual, Spanish-language programming, or other Native languages. As an organization, we value transparency and Language Justice, and we want to make sure that our participants are aware of what to expect at each event. The programming for this event will be in English and there will not be formal Spanish interpretation integrated into the event.

The programming for this event will be:

• Programming Language: English only

• Available Interpretation: Minimal interpretation

• Volunteer Language Proficiency: Modesta McGrath-Martínez - Conversational Spanish and fluent in English

Regardless of your language abilities, you are welcomed at this event and we will do our best to work with you. The intention of this disclosure is to create better transparency on what to expect during your program.
