Llyn y Fan Fach and Bannau Sir Gaer Circular

A 9km hike with a 487m elevation gain, this is a difficult hike due to it's strenuous incline and sections of difficult/steep terrain. It will take around 3 and a half to 4 hours including stops and a lunch break.

Tickets for this hike will be limited due to smaller car park, we strongly advise you car share, you can email and private message us for the link to our Whatsapp GroupChat and sub group 'Drivers/ people needing lifts'. Please make sure you cancel your ticket via Eventbrite if you can no longer make it.

QHSW organisers are Kat and Venla, they will be wearing hi-vis vests on the hike and will be there to introduce themselves and whats to be expected of the hike. We will also aim to have 3 helpers to support in keeping the group together, befriending people coming alone and generally helping with any needs. If you would like to be a helper please email or private message us.

• Venla and Kat will take photos during the hike, including a group photo - these pictures will be used for our social media pages. Please let us know via email, messages or in person if you do not wish to be in the photos.

You are responsible for:

• yourselves and any pets, children or vulnerable adults you bring with you on the walk
• wearing the appropriate attire suitable for the weather and terrain conditions
• bringing food and drink
• reading the Eventbrite details and All Trails details if provided and deciding whether the walk is suitable for you
• turning up on time
• bringing any personal medical aids and first aid materials if you think you may need them

As a community we should:

• be kind, welcoming and respectful to everyone attending our walks
• see to event organisers Kat and Venla or other Helpers if there is a concern
• take all of our rubbish with us or use bins
• only attend events that we have selected tickets for, and cancel the tickets if can no longer make it
