Blossoms in spring and grows green again!
Everywhere and forever the distance shines bright and blue!
Forever… forever…”
To conclude our season, Loudoun Lyric Opera invites you to an exclusive experience of song right here at home. Discover the next generation of classical talent in this presentation of Gustav Mahler’s masterpiece, Das Lied von der Erde (The Song of the Earth). Experience the ringing high notes of Myanmari-American tenor, Ye Lynn Han, alongside mezzo soprano, Amanda Zoe Vest in a beautifully curated concert developed in collaboration with LLO Artistic Director, Mark Irchai.
Performed in the composer’s own intimate piano edition, this luscious concert work is a beautiful musical treatment of the many landscapes of life. What better way to celebrate spring in the beautiful vistas of Loudoun County!
We are thrilled to announce a special artistic partnership with Loudoun County visual artist Terri Parent. Her critically acclaimed piece, "Through the Fog," beautifully captures the contemplation of nature and the people that lives in Mahler's masterwork. Enhance your concert experience by exploring an exclusive exhibit of Parent's work, which will be on view in the lobby before and after the concert.
See you at the opera!
