Weekly Conservation Volunteering Opportunity🌳Join us every Monday at Llanharan's new Eco Hub!
As Community Nature Guardians, we will be working to help set up this brand new space for the community to celebrate nature.
Volunteering gives individuals the opportunity to:
Meet new people
Feel a part of a community
Have a sense of achievement
Get physically active
Spend time outdoors, improving mental wellbeing
Learn new skills
Have experiences in nature
Learn about wildlife
Activities during volunteer sessions include:
Creating wildlife habitats
Litter picking
Tree planting
Sweeping leaves from paths
Clearing vegetation around footpaths
For each project, volunteers of all abilities are welcome to attend (carers are welcome, too). Full training for each task will be provided, as well as all tools and personal protective equipment. Hot drinks and fruit are also provided.
Sessions will run from 10am - 12:30pm in a fun and informal manner with no skill set necessary, we will provide everything!
