Mae’r gynhadledd hon ar gyfer Gweithwyr Proffesiynol Iechyd Meddwl Cymeradwy (AMHP) o bob rhan o Gymru.

Dyma gyfle i gyfrannu at ddysgu a datblygu AMHPs, ac wrth gwrs cewch gyfle i rwydweithio hefyd. Mae’r gynhadledd yn dathlu gwaith AMHPs a chyfraniad allweddol ymarferwyr i lesiant y boblogaeth.

Beth fyddwn ni’n ei drafod

Bydd y gynhadledd yn canolbwyntio ar brofiadau Gweithwyr Proffesiynol Iechyd Meddwl Cymeradwy, a'r heriau sy’n eu hwynebu. Mae ein siaradwyr gwadd yn cynnwys:

• Rebecca Horton: AMHP profiadol ac arweinydd tîm a fydd yn rhannu ei barn hi am waith a chyfrifoldebau AMHPs yn 2025
• Dr Alan Woodall: meddyg Adran 12 profiadol sydd â chefndir ym maes ymchwil ac ymarfer rheng flaen a fydd yn trafod ei brofiadau o waith AMHPs
• Michael Brown: neu’r ‘plismon iechyd meddwl’ a fydd yn trafod y dull ‘Gofal Cywir, Person Cywir’, materion cysylltiedig ag effeithiau posibl y polisi.

Bydd y sesiwn yn rhyngweithiol a bydd cyfle i ofyn cwestiynau hefyd.

All-Wales Approved Mental Health Professionals (AMHP) conference

23 October, The Angel Hotel, Cardiff

4 November, Venue Cymru, Llandudno

Who this event is for

This conference is for all AMHP’s across Wales.

It will be a chance to contribute to AMHP development and learning and will be a chance for you to network. The conference celebrates the AMHP role and the vital role practitioners play in contributing to the well-being of the population.

What we’ll cover

The conference will focus on experiences and challenges of the AMHP role. Our guest speakers are:

• Rebecca Horton: an experienced AMHP and team manager giving her reflections of the AMHP role in 2025
• Dr Alan Woodall: an experienced Section 12 doctor with a background in research and frontline practice, speaking about his experiences of the role of AMHP’s
• Michael Brown: also known as the mental health cop, who’ll be speaking about the Right Care Right Person approach, associated issues and the potential and actual impacts of the policy.There’ll also be an interactive session and question and answer opportunities
