Lizzie No is a genre-defying folk artist and revolutionary voice in the Black Womanist tradition. Their acclaimed third studio album, Halfsies (2024), blends folk, country, and indie influences into music that is both intimate and boldly expansive.

Named one of Rolling Stone’s “Future 25” Artists of the Year, Lizzie No continues to gain international recognition—most recently with a nomination for International Song of the Year at the Americana UK Awards for the country ballad “The Heartbreak Store.”

The Halfsies tour brought Lizzie No to stages across the U.S. and Europe, including performances with Iron & Wine and Dispatch. In early 2025, they released the electrifying live album Commie Country, capturing the raw power and urgency of their performances. Beyond the stage, Lizzie No is a co-host of the Basic Folk podcast and a contributing writer for The Bluegrass Situation.
