Living with Wellness - Mobile Health Unit Services

The Black Health and Social Services (BHSS) Hub is excited to invite you to join us at the Living With Wellness Festival this summer at Celebration Square in Mississauga!

📍 Location: Celebration Square, 300 City Centre Drive, Mississauga
📅 Dates: Friday, June 26 & Saturday, June 27
🕛 Time: 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM

As part of the festival, the BHSS Hub Mobile Health Unit will be onsite providing culturally responsive health education, cancer screening support, and access to community-based care in an inclusive and welcoming environment.

In partnership with William Osler Health System and University of Toronto Resident Physicians, this activation will focus primarily on cervical and breast cancer screening awareness, prevention, and navigation support.

Attendees will have the opportunity to connect directly with healthcare professionals, learn about the importance of early detection, and access trusted health resources designed to support equitable care for Black and underserved communities.

The BHSS Hub interdisciplinary team will be onsite throughout the festival to provide:

• Cervical and breast cancer screening education and navigation
• 1:1 health information and community resource support
• Access to culturally responsive care and wellness services
• Health promotion resources focused on prevention and early detection
• Opportunities to engage with healthcare professionals in a safe and affirming space
• Interactive wellness activities, community engagement, and giveaways

The Living With Wellness Festival is an annual celebration of wellness, arts, and culture in Mississauga – bringing together community members, organizations, artists, and health leaders for a vibrant and empowering experience centered on healing, education, and connection.

Please Note: Registration for this event represents a request for service. Appointment times and final service confirmation will be provided directly by the BHSS team following registration. Please select one service of interest. Appointment availability is on Friday, June 26th 12:30PM - 8:00PM and Friday, June 27th 12:30PM - 8:00PM. Additional service requests can be discussed with the BHSS team during follow-up confirmation.
