Dr. Quinton Martins, co-founder of True Wild Conservation, will present an update on the Living with Lions Project, an exciting grassroots predator conservation project in the San Francisco North Bay. Since 2016, Dr. Martins has studied the movement of mountain lions fitted with GPS collars in the North Bay to better understand mountain lion ecology, connectivity and challenges these enigmatic animals face in this fragmented landscape.
Dr. Quinton Martins is the Principal Investigator for the Living with Lions Project, a partnership between True Wild and All Hands Ecology. True Wild also partners with Sonoma County Wildlife Rescue to address and mitigate human-mountain lion conflict in the North Bay.
